center align for category thumnails

Hi, I've been searching endlessly for a solution as to why the category and categories view thumbnails are all aligned to the left. I know its floated left and when I try taking that off and using css margin-left: auto; and margin-right: auto; i end up with the thumnails centered but stacked on top of each other. How can I get them to display side by side while being centered horizontally? Any help is much appreciated!!

Hi, I see no problem with centering on the site?
You want to center all the Phoca Gallery, then you need to set fixed width for the Phoca Gallery box and set a centering to yes - all this should be done in the parameters, the outcome is following:

thanks for the reply but I'm still unable to see any changes after setting the Phoca Gallery Width in the general settings of the Parameters (I hope i'm in the right place) to 800px. And Phoca Gallery Center to Yes(category and categories view) .

It still floats left and i'm really wondering if I'm missing something really simple here. I have used phoca gallery before on a previous website (now closed) and it worked flawlessly for me before and I absolutely love it but i just don't know why its doing this now? Please help...I'm starting to feel quite silly...

Hi, the boxes will allways float to left (as there is not float: center feature in CSS) but you can center the whole Phoca Gallery box, if there is some problem, try to test it with standard template.

I know they float left, and I'm using the rhuk_milkyway template. I centered the phoca gallery but its still appearing on the left. I really am not sure if there's anything else to do or if i'm doing something wrong.

Hmmm, did you set the fixed width wich is necessary for this.

yup, I set it to 800px but its still showing the categories on the left.... I'm really running out of ideas

I tried it with FireBug on your site and mine and it seems to work.
added display: block to id=phocagallery (css)
changed div class=phocagallery-box-file to span class=phocagallery-box-file (source code)
added display: inline-block to span class=phocagallery-box-file (css)
take out float: left from #phocagallery-pane .phocagallery-box-file, #phocagallery .phocagallery-box-file, .phocagallery-box-file (css)
#whitebox div {text-align: center} (css)
