I am using Joomla 1.6.1 with Phoca Gallery 3.0 RC5 and got a problem with the frontend upload only for some users.
I got about 30users who are only allowed to create and edit articles and categories in the backend. They can't see the components.
So now they have to upload their photos in the control center or category view in the frontend. But this is only working for me and another user who are in the joomla manager group. All the other users are in the public group(so I can control their access).
In the phoca gallery I created 30 users and for each a category with an own directory. I made a screenshot of my settings in phoca gallery(for sure control center is activated for users and directory setting is set to 777):
Now, when I go to the photo button in the frontend control center I only get this error report:
Dies ist keine Kategorie zum hochladen von Bildern. Bitte erst eine Kategorie erstellen.
Wenn die Kategorie erstellt wurde und es können keine Bilder hochgeladen werden , dann den Administrator kontaktieren:
* wenn die Berechtigung zum hochladen von Bildern, in der Hauptkategorie, besteht
* wenn Sie der Inhaber der Hauptkategorie sind
* wenn das Dateiverzeichnis zur Hauptkategorie gehört.

Does anyone know what to do? Where I got a mistake in the settings or got an idea...I didn't find a post about this that could help me out.
