Joomla 1.6 Phoca gallery - SEF_URL problem

Hi, I created a new Joomla! 1.6 site based on a template (using the XAMPP platform on localhost).

I am new to Joomla.

I installed the Phoca Gallery component and everything worked fine.posting.php?mode=post&f=1#

Then moved the site to a shared hosted environment. Everything continued to work.posting.php?mode=post&f=1#

But then switched on SEF_URLs via Global Configuration. My photo gallery is accessed from the main menu which then displays a catagories selection screen. However if I select any of these catagories, the website bombs out.posting.php?mode=post&f=1#

It looks like a SEF_URL problem, especially when I turn SEF_URLs off again as the problem disappears (but I have ugly urls).

I have scanned the forum and documentation. I have created "dummy" menus for Phoca Gallery as suggested but nothing resolves the problem.

The site is at http://www.tasteincorporated.co.uk but this will work at present as SEF_URLs is switched off.

Any help or suggestions very welcome!

Hi, for me, it is everything ok with SEF on your site.
