Fatal error in admin panel (Images)

I've been search all around for the answer to this, and I can't seem to find it. In the administration panel, when I try to get into the images section, I get this:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /joomla/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 367

Is there a way to reduce the amount of images displayed or to stop thumbnail creation or the clean thumbnail function without being in the images screen? Or is there another work around?

Hi, yes, you can set the pagination, you can enable pagination thumbnail creation, etc. etc, see:

thank you...I shut down some of the thumbnail creation and cleaning operations, and I was able to get into my images section. Thanks for the help!
