Greetings and thank you for an excellent feature.
I have just installed PG but when a comment is submitted via PG the text within the comment is deleted upon completing the capatcha process!
As you can see here http://www.strangelove.com/videos/comments?Name=Value, the guest postings appear but lack any content.
Thank you for help on this.

Hi, I see, but really no idea what can be wrong there, is the content included in admin? in database?

Re: Submitted Comments Disappear
The component appears to be correctly installed. Any other comment plugins have been turned off (rokcomment and jcomment -- neither of which would work -- related perhaps?)Jan wrote:Hi, I see, but really no idea what can be wrong there, is the content included in admin? in database?
I am not sure of your meaning re admin and database (have access to the mysql database and can look for --what?).
Submitted comments show up in the back end admin section of Joomla under Components > Phoca Guestbook - Items
BUT they show no actual content from the postings.
If you can spare the time I will make backend access available to you.
In any event, thank you for the assistance.

Re: Submitted Comments Disappear
Hi, so if they are list in admin, they are not removed, they exist but not displayed in the frontend, testing it now on my test server, and see no problem and no reason to not display.
Try to check all the settings - like the posts should be displayed immediately (not after approving, etc.)
