pictures are not assigned ot the categories

Hello everybody,

in an new Joomla 1.6 installation I installed Phocagallery 3.0.0 RC without any problems.
Now I moved the pictures from my old website (Joomla 1.5) via FTP to the new website into subfolder under /images/phocagallery.
After that I created the categories and tried to multiple add pictures to the categories.
Thumbnails were created, but the pictures are not assigned to the categories.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello and thank you for the answer.
But I already use RC5, just forgot to post.

Now I find an other "solution". I used multiple add, choosed the directory itself (nut the pictures as before), but choosed no category. Then a new category was created and I simply renamed it.
A little bit difficult, but it works.

By the way, after a while Joomla stucks when the amount of pictures grows.
Maybe 'cause Phocagallery is still RC, I don't know.

Hi, you should enable pagination thumbnail creating if you have problems with memory, see:

Hi, thanks for reply.

However, pagination thumbnail creation was activated. And the webserver is a quadcore with 8GB memory, so this should not be a problem.
The problem with the hangup just occures, when in the picture view no category was choosen, so that I can see all picture. I guess there are just too much.

But now I'm finished with creating my galleries.
