front end authorization

Post by kennmike »

Hi,
I have installed Phoca gallery and it is really brilliant.. I have a few questions,

-is it possible for administrators to authorize photos from the front end i have been trying now for a week and i almost get confused because the parameters are so detailed...??

-is there any way to allow visitors(with no accounts) to upload photos to the site, and for administrators to view and then authorise or delete these photos from the front end..??

Thanks for any help

I'm revisiting this thread as I am wondering the exact same thing.

Joomla 1.6 Phoca Gallery 3.0.0.RC5

- Is it possible for administrator/super user/or specified users to authorize images that other users has uploaded via front end in front end?

I want my users to be able to add categories/subcategories/images, but I want to authorize the pictures before they are published.
So far so good.

Now, when I log in with my super user account, I still don't see the images that are not authorized. So I have to go to the back end. This is no problem for me, but I want to let other users be "moderators" as well. Is this possible???

In fact, before I go into the back end and set all the permissions in back end is it possible for me (super user) to change anything in the front end.

I didn't find anything in the link from previous post.

Incredible program by the way.
Best regards
Nils

Hi, you can authorize images only in backend, in frontend all users are taken as normal registered users (it is very problematic to do second duplicity administration area in frontend for administrator if there is one in backend :-( )
