I have joomla 1.5.x, PHP 5.3.2, mysql 5.0, and I installed Phoca Gallery 2.7.5, while working well with the gallery and when I upload photos I got this message: "Error 500 - Internal server error An internal server error has occured! Please try again later".

Hi, try to install 2.7.8 version. mysql 5.x has problem with type=myisam, maybe this is the problem on your server, 2.7.8 uses engine=myisam which is ok in mysql 5.x
