I have installed the editor button but get this error when trying to add or edit a file download:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getTemplate() on a non-object in /home/gloscic/public_html/plugins/editors-xtd/phocadownload/phocadownload.php on line 24
Any ideas why?
Thanks
Lee

Re: Button plugin error
Sorry, guess my confusion came from version 1.5.xx or later, I just assumed that 1.6 would qualify.
Thanks for the heads up though.

Re: Button plugin error
So how are we supposed to display the uploaded files inside of articles in joomla 1.6? I assumed that since phoca was ready for 1.6, that meant my client could display the files, is there another way?
The modules didn't work either...
please help.
thanks.

Re: Button plugin error
That's what I was trying to figure out. There is no way to use it in 1.6. The minimum is to have the editor button available.

Re: Button plugin error
Hi, this is nowhere written, Phoca Download Component is in RC version for Joomla! 1.6 but the modules and plugins are not ready (for now 1 year and 4 months I don't do anything thank ovewrite extensions for 1.6. 1.6 is completely different inside to 1.5, so making all the extensions (over 100.000 lines of codes) will take some timeI assumed that since phoca was ready for 1.6, that meant my client could display the files, is there another way?
Now the main components are in RC or stable, after all will be stable I hope, there will be time to create the modules and plugins.

Re: Button plugin error
I am also waiting for the editor plugin
, but one solution could be the jce editor. Ryan just released his file manager plugin for jce 2.0. You just have to set your phocadownload folder in the specified root folder of jce for getting download links in articles.
