Themes installation problem

It would be nice to know if Themes are supposed to work in 1.6 or later.

Should we simply stop expecting Themes to work until a fix for 1.6 can be made?

Can anyone on 1.6 confirm they were able to install themes?

Unfortunately not, same behavior here....

joomla 1.6.2.
PHP Version 5.3.5
Database Version 5.1.50
Web Server Apache/2.2
PG 3.0.0.RC4

Hi, I will take a look at it, seems like something was changed in 1.6.x (with creating a folders)

Hi, not sure why do you get such error messages, maybe some problem with permission or ownership of files. but great to hear, that the theme is working then.

We have the same error here. I dont think so the problem is my permission but we never know before it's fix.

Just let you know hes not alone.

I've upgraded my joomla to 1.6.3 and updgraded my PG to 3.0.0 RC5 and the theme partially installed. It means that the buttons has not been installed yet.
