Image Rating Problem

Post by kalymgr »

Hi.
I have created an album, but image rating does not work as it should. I've read your posts but can't find an answer.
I have two problems.
1. when I press the five stars, a window appears but it show the whole web page, not just the image.
2. rating works only for the registered. I would like it to work for the others, too.
Could you please help me?

The album web page url is: http://www.kalymniansguide.gr/album/cat ... 5-20-09-05

Hi,

1) seems like something on your site creates wrong link.
2) yes this is OK, there is no other way to identify users (with reasonable aspects to database performance, to fake all possible anonymous inputs)

Anyway, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ound-image to stylize your background images.

I am also having the same issue with the rating(s). No matter if I click one star or the next, it still links the whole page in the pop up window. Any idea on how to fix this issue?

Thanks,
Shawn

I have the same problem.

The popup with the rating is working if i did not use the option "display comment in no popup windows".
Else i have a popup with the sitewebpage in it (in google chrome) and in IE9, there is no popup but the website in fullscreen with no scrollbar and i can't be back to the list.

You can see it there :

Hi, seems like your site creates wrong url, try to disable SEF to test if this is working without SEF enabled.

Hello

I tried with these options :
Search Engine Friendly URLs No
Use Apache mod_rewrite No
Add suffix to URLs No

But the result is the same as before...

I am having the exact same issue. When a user clicks on a Rating star, my whole website appears in the popup!

http://planethop.com/photos/photo-grid

Using Phoca Gallery: 2.7.8
Joomla: 1.5.22
SEF URLS set to "Yes"

Hi,

here http://www.taggarts.us/index.php/photog ... /23-hockey

and the link to detail image:

http://www.taggarts.us/index.php/photog ... lkadmirals is missing the tmpl=component parameter. so the URL is wrongly created on your site, but what exactly caused the problem, really no idea, the link is created by Joomla! JRoute method.

See here:

https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/category/9-leonberger

links to detail window (clicking on rating) include the tmpl=component parameter.
