Change user folder location

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the position of where user folders are being created? I don't want them to be created under the main category.
The reason for this is that on my site I want to have two pages, one with just user galleries and one with a public gallery. And this is creating a problem when user folders are created in the main category or root.
Maybe someone has a better solution to my problem? To make it easier to understand what I want is.

Page1= Usergalleries
Page2=Public galleries

Hi, then this needs to be customized in the code, there is no such option for changing it
