hishslide js (image only) no background in interent explorer

I want to use highslide is ( image only ) i realy like the look of this detailed view, but when using internet explorer the background will not darken no matter what the opacity is set to. This works fine when using google chrome. Any ides on how to correct this?

sorry i should of stated that i am using ie9.

No one else with this problem? It seems to fine when ie8 or chrome but ie9.

I am having a simular problem in IE9
All other browsers work fine.
When i click on an image in IE9 my highslide is not working, i just get an empy IE page with only the picture. Anyone got a solution?

No problem, the opacity is working on that page.

Hmm, then this seems like some problem - conflict between the highslide and some part of your site (template, other extension - module, plugin, ...) Try to test the standard template

I am using standard template. Bees 5.

Im am also having that problem on the website itself.
I use highslide image (only).
First the zoom cursor is not displayed, it hows only a hand. When i then click on it, it opens the picture in a new window. Any ideas?
