Phoca download for joomla 1.6

Hi, i'm Italian, sorry for my bad English!
I've installed phocadownload on my joomla 1.6.1...

i've a problem, i want to put some file into my article or under my article in a module position... i've installed the plugin but it doesn't work

can you help me?

Hi,

Requirements:

* Joomla!1.5 (stable or any later version)
* PHP 4.4.1 (or any later version)
* Phoca Download component.

the available Phoca Download Plugin is a joomla v1.5 Plugin. It can not work with joomla v1.6

Hi,

its release depends on many factors, so cannot responsibly say when this will be done. Most of work (time) is taken by overwriting the language strings to fit Joomla! 1.6 rules, so overwriting the plugin is fast but it takes a lot of time to making it really ready for 1.6.

For now I need to bring all the components to some status where we can say they are ready for stable, then the plugins and modules can be overwritten (in Phoca Download and Phoca Gallery some bugs must be solved and the support for multilanguage future must be finished) ... This take some time (as all is done in free time next to coordinationg languages, answering posts in forum, etc, etc. )

i'm not a developer, but i try to convert the plugin for joomla 1.6 and i have some problem with the core of the component...

i think i attend the stable version of the component...
