Multifile upload solution

Hi Jan!

I've read all the topics on the forum regarding the multifile upload and surprisingly found that there is no working solution.
Java uploader does not work: I've tried to use the uploader in standalone mode also (to exclude phoca gallery influence) - it does not work.
I know that there is a solution to install Java 1.5 but it's unacceptable for me cause I need uploading on the front-end for the users, and I can't say them "downgrade you Java, please".
The same is for the flash uploader - it works with Flash 9 and does not work with 10.0.

I've also tried some fixes posted on this forum in the Internets - no luck.

Is there any workable multifile upload solution for Phoca Gallery?

Hi, there is plupload - but since Joomla! 1.6 (because of used mootools library):
