Hi, try to change the method of displaying Captcha: from JHTML to JRoute or reverse (in menu link parameters) If this will not help, then I think you need to ask on sh404sef how to disable the url creating for captcha image in Phoca Guestbook, I think there must be some solution.

I was having the same issue, and this post clued me into sh404sef

it appears the old sh404sef plugin still works http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... ions/14093

you could also set sh404sef to skip PhocaGuestbook - components - sh404sef - configuration (tab) - sh404sef Configuration - By Component - select skip in first column next to Phoca Guestbook.
