I am using Joomla 1.6 and installed Phoca v3 last week and it is working fine, i love it..thanks.
Just 2 little things I wanted your help with if you could please,
1. I cannot upload any new themes to Phoca. I was getting an array or errors and after going throug multiple fixes online i have hit a brick wall. I checked all the directories, permissions, ftp layer, config.php, uploaded the themes through the component and ext manager and still failing. I even attempted to replace the zip contents manually in the directory on the server, to no avail.
"copy failed: Unable to find required information in install package"
I assume that 1.6 is not an issue? Am i missing permissions?
2. I dont know if this is related as it may be an install error on my part, but in the themes menu, whenever i choose "Pick Color" nothing pops up. I have seen screenshots with the colour palette, but nothing on mine..i can choose a colour from an invisible pallette but cant actually see it ...if that makes sense!!
The reason i am asking this, is because my sites background is black and when i upload an image it is surrounded by a large white box, does nt look very good
When i changed the colour to black for all 4 options it didnt really make much of a difference, so i thought changing the themes would.Also I have tried every theme on the phoca.cz site and all the same...
