Thumbnail Creation Problem

I am having problems with my Thumbnail Creation after uploading.
All I get is the Red-Stop Thumbnail Creation in the upper left corner when it supposedly starts.
It can sit for 20 minutes and never change.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, the site was created in a sub-directory, then moved to the root directory. When I enable created thumbnails, and then try to create the thumbnail, it crashes the back end. I can get back and change the enable to disable and the component runs again.

Could their be a file that needs to have a path changed in it?

I have the problem with Thumbnail Creation.

When I go into the "Phoca Gallery Control Panel " I could not see the word "Parameters". So how can I find it?

I have used phocagallery on atleast a 1/2 dozen websites. It was working on the aforementioned site, until I moved it from a subdirectory to the root. I have uninstalled phocagallery, reinstalled it, and still it will not create thumbnails. It goes to a blank screen with stop thumbnail creation in the upper right hand corner, and just stalls. I click stop thumbnail creation and all is well again, It is not creating the thumbs directory, really strange. I have several other sites on the server running phocagallery without any problems. Should I look for something in the database, or does a file need to be edited in the phoca files? I really think I need Jan's help. No offense, but he is the creator, and would know his component better than most anyone out here.
