Install failure on Joomla!1.5

Hi,

the hoster 1und1.de usually offers php 4.4.9 as the standard on his servers. I have tried several times to install Phoca Gallery component on this server (for Joomla 1.5.22 own install, latest version of the freshly downloaded zip-file from the Phoca download page). Server errors and other errors blocked the installation. However, it is possible to switch to php 5. via the .htaccess file. After that switch, com_phocagallery_v2.7.6.zip installed flawlessly.

I wonder whether the requirements for phoca gallery component for Joomla 1.5 should be changed to php 5.

Hi, no idea if there are any other restrictions, I am running Phoca Gallery on php4 server on some of 1.5 instance.
