i miss some settings in PG 3.0

Hey there, i have a question:

On my old website i had joomla 1.5.xx with phocagallery 2.7.xx. If i made a link to a category i had always the possibillity to set the componet parameters at the menu (category view).

At Joomla 1.6 and phocagallery 3.0 RC4 i can't make settings at the menue (category view). I only can make the parameter settings at the component options. But i want to make different settings for each category.
How can i do this?

Hi, this feature was removed from Joomla! 1.6 - the parameters are not added automatically to the menu link, so I need to do some researches if there is some way to do it.
