installation problem....

ok, im trying to install phocagallery 2.7.6 on joomla 1.5.22....

after it does the upload at 100%... it stalls for a while, then goes to a server error page that reads:

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

i have repeated this about 10+ times and with the same result everytime. I have godaddy as my host, and i have several other joomla sites hosted with them as well and one of them also has phocagallery on it as well...

what can i do to get it installed or who can help me????

check requirements

Requirements:
* Joomla!1.5.10 (stable or any later version)
* PHP 4.4.1 (or any later version) with GD library (graphics library for thumbnails creation).

ok, i have tried over and over again. im having a major install problem. i cant get it to install at all without doing the FTP install. during the ftp install, i can get that to "appear" to work, but then i cant get the gallery to run on the site at all. just error404 pages...

i have installed this on another website i have using the same host and hosting accout, etc... it works fine. for some reason, i cant get this one to work.

is there a guru on here that can help me? any suggestions or pointers??? HELP!

I think I have the same problem. Initially I was getting:
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package
I figured this might be because of the size, so I ftp'd the files across as described in Instalation Problem Solving. THen I ran the FTP install and now I get Internal Server Errors.
When I was ftp's the files, I did not find a front directory in the zip file. Could this be the problem?
I am using a Joomla Demo site on Cloudaccess.net
Joomla 1.5.22
Php 5.2.10

Hi, you should try to see errorlog on your server, to see which error was caused the internal server error.
