Order position arrows and text box disabled

Hi,

I'm not sure why this happened today, I had a user log in with Manager access, they went to the backend and tried to change the order in which some photos were listed but the Order arrows and even the position text were grey'd out and disabled. They were running an win xp machine.

Any reason why?

Hi, which version you are using. Did they click on "order" column to be able make ordering changes.

I'm using the latest version of the gallery, and I found what causes the problem. I've tested this on multiple machines with different os, and browsers all with the same result. If you go into the 'Images' tab and you click on the 'Categories' header to resort the page, that's when the order arrows are disabled. If I use the dropdown filter boxes to filter on only a specific category there is no problem.

The only way I have found to re-enable the order boxes after I click the 'Categories' header to sort them which disables the arrows is to shut down the browser and re-log into the site.

Hi, the orders arrows are enabled only in case the Ordering column is "active", if you will oder the list e.g. by categories, then you cannot order it by ordering.
