Allow users to upload images via frontend

Hi,

I am desperately trying to find an extension that allows users to upload images via the article submission layout. These images will then form a gallery. Now there are loads of extensions out there that have this functionality and can do this via the backend. But I need something for the frontend users. Does this extension now do this?

Hope this helps convey what I am after. Has this been implemented?

Alternatively if the community knows of any other extensions that has this functionality, then I am all ears.
