Error building Admin Menus - J 1.6.0 & Gal. 3.0.0 rc2

Hello,

I am using Joomla 1.6.0 stable and tried to install Phoca Webgallery. I needed to use the ftp installation but after installing the "ftp-module" within joomla, i get the following error message:

Error building Admin Menus

Installation von „Komponente“ erfolgreich!

Joomla now has no Admin Module/Plugin für Phoca and when i click the install button, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Cannot make static method JLoader::import() non static in class PhocaGalleryLoader in /...../joomla-1.6/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/loader.php on line 75

What can I do? Is this a Joomla or a Phoca issue?

Hi,
versuche mal folgendes:
1. FTP-Layer abschalten
2. Phoca Gallery 3.0.0 RC2 lokal auf deinem Rechner entpacken und ins Verzeichnis /tmp/ zu kopieren.
3. backend --> Erweiterungen --> Erweiterungen: Installieren --> Aus Verzeichnis installieren

Leider besteht der Fehler weiterhin. Habe es auf zwei grundverschiedenen Servern versucht, aber mit der Joomla 1.6.0 und der Phoca Gallery 3.0.0 rc2 bei beiden das selbe Ergebnis bekommen

Versuch mal den tmp Verzeichnis löschen und dann mache die Schritte wie Benno geschrieben hat (und kontrolliere ob du wirklich Phoca Gallery 3.0.0 RC2 version kopierst).

Vielleicht fehlen manche Dateien auf dem Server

das Löschen des tmp-Verzeichnisses hat leider auch nichts gebracht. Die Joomla-Installation ist eine komplett frische Version mit leerer/neuer Datenbank gewesen. Ich habe auch keine rc oder beta von Joomla installiert, sondern die finale Version.

Vielleicht kann jemand das Problem reproduzieren

Hmm, leider weiss ich nicht was das heissen soll, dies war bei Joomla! 1.6 Beta, siehe:

Dann bekamm ich niemals so ein Fehler mit Joomla! RC oder stable

zum glück trifft der Fehler nicht mehr in der RC3 von der Gallery auf.

I've installed last version of Joomla (1.6) and Phoca Gallery 3.0RC3. First problem was error installing from ZIP. Solved with installation from directory. Then I had no Admin menu - "error creating admin menu". It is solved with SQL you wrote above. Thank you for your great work.
