Slideshow Noob Module for Joomla! 1.5

I'm planning to use Phoca Gallery for a new website and need the functionality offered by the Slideshow Noob Module. Because the site is for a client, I don't want to use Joomla! 1.6 yet, but it seems that the Slideshow Noob Module is only avaliable for 1.6. Am I out of luck or am I missing something and is there a 1.5 version available somewhere?

No, it's only a joomla! 1.6 version.

That's a real shame. Is there anything we can do about that? I'm always willing to donate a few euro's. Just let me know how much would be sufficient to back port this module to Joomla! 1.5.

Hi, it is not possible to do it for Joomla! 1.5 because Joomla! 1.5 includes obsolete mootools library which is not supported by the noob slideshow

I thought there are ways to include newer mootools libraries as well. But I guess you know what you are talking about. Pitty though

Hi, yes, you can add some compatability scripts, etc, but then e.g. modal box will not work anymore, etc.
