I have updated to 1.4.4 on one of my sites and found that the characters in TTF captcha is written above each other randomly. To get a readable picture I have to press redload captcha up to 5-6 times before a readable picture is shown.
The characters written above each other is random between 2 to 6 chars.
The site is here:

Have tested both JHTML and JROUTE. No change.
Has anybody seen this also? and is there any remedy for it?

Re: Capchta picture, charcters written above each other
I don't mean "above". I mean they have almost the same x-coordinate and overwrites each others making a blur of characters.

Hi, I see but really no idea what can be wrong there, did you make some changes to captcha class?
Tested many times on different behaviours without no problems

Sorry but when I visit the site about 80% of the generated captachas are unreadable.
No I have not made any changes, just upgraded to a newer version. We had a very old version before, installed in 2008. Don't remember the version.

Hmmm, really no idea what can be wrong there, seems like the coordinates are wrong counted but really no idea why? should not depend on server settings, etc ???

Yes I agree with you. Its wrong calculations of the coordinates.
I don't know about the server settings. It is running on one.com a big hosting company.
I have another domain with a test site for joomla testings. I will install a fresh version and try to see if there are some differences on that site. It runns on antother server, but I suspect that one.com is having the same settings for their environment on all servers.
