Control Panel Error

I installed phoca gallery v3 rc3 with Joomla 1.6 and I encountered some errors, relating to not finding com_phocagallery in the administrator/components folder.

I proceeded to do a manual install with the ftp installer and I also encountered a similar error. What is interesting is that Phoca Gallery is installed, except I cannot access the control panel or info option in phoca gallery. All other options are available and appear to work.

The error I keep getting when clicking the control panel is: File Not found ~http://localhost/websitename/administra ... ocagallery

and when trying to install the ftp patch:File Not found ~http://localhost/websitename/administra ... sk=install

When I examine the directory the adminstrator/components/com_phocagallery directory exists, as well as the components/com_phocogallery directory.

Any ideas or resolutions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I never had troubles with Joomla 1.5 & phoca gallery 2.X....

Hmmm, then try to reinstall the component, really no idea what can be wrong there?
