Greetings!,
I am new to Joomla, so bare over with me.
I am trying to upload a file using Phoca's Upload component thing, but whenever I try and upload a file, in this case it being a TXT file, it gives me the following errors:
* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Warning - Could not move the file
Also, in the upload window itself it gives me the following two errors:
File not uploaded
File cannot be uploaded
I have checked the directory permissions in my System Info, and every folder is set to Writeable.
Any idea what is wrong?

Hi, then try to check ownership of the files too, if they have the same ownership as other files, try to enable, disable FTP layer.

Also, I probably forgot to mention this, but the problem persists on the Front-End, not on the Back-End.

Re: Problem with uploading file
Hello again and thank you for the response.
I acquired myself the FTP program, and I did check the ownership of the file I was trying to upload. Although the point is, the file I created is a simple .txt document that I created as an example file to check wether or not the upload would work.
I also went into the FTP Settings and disabled/enabled it without any luck, I still get the same message.
Any ideas?

Hmmm, then seems you need to contact your webhosting operator to check the ownership settings on your server

Re: Problem with uploading file
I'm trying to bump this again, as I still have this problem.
I've tried a lot of things now.. the following:
Enabling and Disabling FTP
Making sure the /phocadownload folder has write allowance on the FTP
Enabling User Upload in the category
Enabling User Upload in the Global Configuration
Does this mean I have from 775 to 777?
I included this screenshot to show my error:

Re: Problem with uploading file
Hi, if your server will not allow you to write to 755, then you need to set it to 777.
