category menu item with category list?

Hi,

I'd like to set up a menu item show exact layout as
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/categories-view-in-category
how can I do that?
it seems I only have two options when creating a menu item
one is category list layout; and another is category layout. none of them can achieve what I described.
Did I miss anything?

Hi, you can set it in parameters, this is a category view but you can create a menu link to categories view from which you will go to category view, see:

I tried both layout to create my menu link.

using Phoca Gallery All categories layout, the menu url leads user to a page shows category list only;
when use Phoca Gallery Category layout, the menu url leads user to an image index page without category list or navigation.

So the question remains, what should I do to set up a menu link shows a particular category image with category list or category navigation on top?

Hi, you can create link to category and if this category will includes subcategories, such can be displayed above the images, see:
