upgrade 2.2.4 to 2.7.6, data there, but not visible

Hi,

sorry to bother you, but after upgrading the admin interface and the frontend looks like after a fresh install. If I did an "install" instead of an "upgrade" it is my understanding that the data within the phoca tables would have been lost, right? But the data is there - and I really to not want to rebuild my data from scratch.

My first thought was that there must be some place to define where the galleries root is - but could not find that place ...

Any indication what might have happened and any hint how to solve that?

Any help will be appreciated!

Hi Benno,

thanks for that hint, I did not see this and I will that anyway.

But nothing is visible in the BACKEND, i.e. no categories, no images.

The link you sent led to a situation with an INSTALLATION, which will delete the contents of the phoca tables. In my case the contents of the phoca tables is still there (3000 images in 100 categories), but the backend doesn't show the contents of these tables.

Any idea for this?

Hi all,

I still have no solution for my problem.

Just to male things clear: the database tables are filled as before, but after installing (upgarding) to the new version the backend shows NOTHING.

Any idea how to track that problem down?

I still have the data of the production site. Is there some way to start over with my test site by merging data from production to test and then run a fresh installation of alle phoca gallery components, modules etc.

Hi Jan,

as nothing really worked I just upgraded the component again. And for some unknown reason everything works as it should.

So next thing now is to get the watermarks to work as they should
