Phoca Download Plugin in jm 1.6

I just installed phoca download component and phoca download plugin on clean joomla 1.6 - plugin is enabled. Uploaded few files through component and tried to add links {phocadownload view=file|id=1|text=File} to article. All i can see is that code instead of file link. Is plugin compatible with 1.6? Button makes whole article edition unusable :/

No, both Plugins was written for joomla! 1.5

So i have to become patient. I thought it will work like maps plugin, which works like a charm :/

Is there other way to put link to file in article? On test site it seems to be done somehow.

No not yet, because there are no 1.6 plugins....
