Simpple Caddy Add To Cart button i IE7

Post by LudekK »

Hallo all. I am happy, my Phoca installations are running without any serious problems. Now I found group of users still running IE7 and I found one problem with position of Simpple Caddy Add To Cart button in the Phoca Gallery on http://keramika.zbrdskeplaniny.cz. Button is shown out of the frame. Other newer browsers are OK with this button. Could you kick me, what to do with this?
Thanks Luděk

Hi,

did you test if you get the same behaviour with standard template (e.g. rhuk_milkyway - to discover which css must be then edited)

If I look at this site:
https://www.phoca.cz/stockphoto/stock-ph ... y/1-prague

with IE7, I see it OK there (so maybe there can be conflict in the template)

Anyway: the eshop looks great.

Hi, attached is my shop shown in FireFox 3.6.13 (I do not have IE7) with MilkyWay template. There is AddToCart button moved down also.

I did some tuning to have the correct position and view before publishing. It corrected it except processing by IE7. It seems to me, there has to be something done especially for IE7, but i do not have idea where.

Hi, seems like you have added the classes for simple caddy in your template, so rhuk does not include them, this is why the layout is down with rhuk and FF ...

But maybe you should add some special code for IE css (maybe your template includes css for IE, so there you can try add different css of simple caddy - e.g. add some padding to 0 or margin, resize the button width, etc.)
