How to add massive image descriptions

Hello,
We are a members Club.
After an event, some members send me, the webmaster, a CD full of pictures, that I ftp to a Phoca image folder.
Members also send me a .txt file, with the name, title and description of each image. The members do not have the skills in order to play with a Joomla backend or front end.
How can we massively update the image descriptions?

Hi, then I think you need to write some customization so while multiple add the txt file will be openened, the info from it will be read and add to the database, etc.
