Thumbnails
I really require assistance please. I have played with Phoca extensively for a few months now and have not been able to control the parameters in any meaningful way. Currently I am busy with a simple site that requires thumbnails displayed in rows and columns. Catagories are not a big feature as it is a single group of images. My problem comes when I try to control the display of the thumbnails. I have recreated the medium thumbnail theme to display a thumbnail 170x170 in size, this is fine but the mouseover border around the thumb is not the same all the way round, which is what it needs to be. I also do not seem to be able to control the horizontal spacing between the rows of thumbnails. I suspect that I may be misunderstanding the idea of catagories. Please can you advise how to control these settings in the component .

Re: Thumbnails
Hi Jan
I have 2 sites where I have tried to use Phoca. The one has a better result than the other.
www.hyltonlangleysafaris.com - in this case I have used the Phoca module. I have not been able to control the black border around the images successfully - but have sort of accepted the current result. I would however like to know how to do it properly if I want to have a uniform black border around the image.
www.karindaymond.com - is the unsuccessful use of Phoca ( I gave up!). What I have under "Recent Paintings" is how I would like to display the images (very manual) but I have come to realise that Phoca may not be the best application for it. I do however miss having the ability to have a slide show of the enlarged images.
The main reason I thought of using phoca in this application is because my client needs to be able to do frontend uploading and Phoca also crops the thumbnail images very well, which is a required feature.
Thanks for your response.

Hi Jan
What I mean is an equally sized border all the way around the image. Currently the black border around the image is wider on the sides than it is at the top and bottom.

Re: Thumbnails
Hmm, then I think you need to use some specific CSS to correct it, you can try to resize the box in parameters too (but the box included the html, so it will be not so easy
