automated publishing of ftp-uploads

good morning!

i rather doubt that this question has not been adressed yet but since keywords like "download" "publish" and "ftp" are so damn common in an environment consisting of a cms and a download module i find it quite hard to dig up ANYTHING useful because of the buttload of false positives i get.

so since i havent found anything myself yet maybe anyone is willing to point me at a thread or how to or just tell me "you can't" for my problem:

i am using phoca download to publish a set of firmware files for different devices. the firmwares are compiled and uploaded (via ftp) automatically. building usually starts at the end of the day and since uploading takes quite some time (its several hundred megabytes through a simple dsl-line) it would be nice if i don't have to stay awake to publish the files as soon as the upload is done.

is there any way in phoca download to achieve this goal? upload via ftp into one directory - or preferably into several directories - and have those files accessible without any further human intervention?

Hi, no there is no such option, such feature needs to be customized
