Re: cannot create menu link to phocagallery
Hi, GerhardSchr,
if you have 30min free time, you could inverse my method and filter out server setting causes.
I mean:
Install a server-php-mysql pack on your home machine(eg.:XAMPP)
Dump the file system from your server to your new localhost server (htdocs folder in XAMPP)
Dump the database and restore it on localhost via phpmyadmin (included in XAMPP)
Edit the config file of joomla(quite easy, if you have a clean joomla install on localhost, you can copy settings from it)
Now, when all is working, you should see the same page as on the WEB.
If menu creation is working, you have a server problem. (I'm quite positive this is the case)
If it isn't working, you have a software problem.
This is my two cents, hope you'll give it a try.

Re: cannot create menu link to phocagallery
So seems there is problem with the suhosin, because Phoca Gallery 2.7.4 does not have so much parameters like 2.7.5 has (this is the most common problem. Users with enabled Suhosin started to have this problem while upgrading from 2.7.4 to 2.7.5), see:so ok i have install the old version of ohoca gallery (com_phocagallery_v2.7.4.zip) and yes it works!
