Display Subcategories as 'Categories, images and detail ...'

Post by fschreiner »

Hi there, I'm looking for a specific function and I'm not able to find out how to get there so far.

I hav a menu entry for Phoca Gallery which lists all the categories. Therefore I'm using 'Categories, images and detail information' to be used with the 'Display Categories Style' property. When I click on the root category it takes me forward and displays all my subcategories (this is where all my images are). What I would like to see is that all subcategories are being displayed the same way as the root categories are ('Categories, images and detail information') rather than just having a folder icon with the subcategory name assigned to it. Would this be possible? If so, what's the setting I should look for?

Environment:
Phoca Gallery 2.7.5

Thanks a lot

Hi, you can use categories view in category view, see:

Jan, thanks for your feedback...

I knew about this option but this doesn't provide a list of the subcategories using
the categories detail view. Am I doing someting wrong?

Cheers

Hi, yes, only the current subcategories are displayed, not the subcategories of them are displayed :-( In such case this needs to be customized in the code
