Ultimately, I want to enable cooliris, but when I try to change any settings in the parameters settings box and click "save", no changes are made. There is also no message of a problem.
I also have Phoca Download installed and attempted to change the parameters in that component and I was able to do so. So it seems to be a problem with just Phoca Gallery.
Permission issue perhaps? I don't know too much about this but would appreciate any help.
I installed the latest version of Phoca 2.7.0 -> 2.7.5
I upgraded to the latest version of Joomla, 1.5.17 -> 1.5.21
I can't change any parameters in Phoca Gallery

Re: I can't change any parameters in Phoca Gallery
Hi, parameters are a part of Joomla! framework, but if there are more parameters on a site and you are using some security php extensions like suhosin, you need to change the value for them, see:

I checked my PHP information page and I currently do not have suhosin installed.

Re: I can't change any parameters in Phoca Gallery
Can I please get some help with this? I am unable to do anything.
If there isn't much else I can do, can someone point me in the direction to reset Phoca gallery?
I'm willing to uninstall and then reinstall the component, but I want to make sure I do it right without losing everything.
Thanks.

Hi, uninstalling and installing are easy actions - just go to Install Manager of Joomla! and uninstall Phoca Gallery, then install it again (you should know that you will lose your data for Phoca Gallery, Original images on your server are not remove while uninstalling)

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Phoca Gallery and tried to edit parameters but it still will not save anything.
I lost all of my settings as well that I spend hours figuring out...
What is going on?

Hi, did you read my previous post:
"you should know that you will lose your data for Phoca Gallery" ...
If you have reinstalled Phoca Gallery, seems like there is not possible problem with e.g. corrupted zip package and xml file.
Check your Joomla! installation, as parameters are displayed and stored by Joomla! options component.
If there is no suhosin, then maybe some problem in Joomla! while saving parameters, but really no idea.
Maybe enabling debug mode or php error reporting will say something
