Please let me know if you think if the following is possible.

I want to create a page that shows a list of clients in thumbnails view( i'm a photographer), they should be visible to everyone BUT only give access to specific users for every thumb(Category) clicked on.
So lets say I have 3 thumbs(categories) - Demo - Jack -Gill
A unregistered user should be able to see all 3 - But only able to access Demo
Then the same applies to Jack - Gill, they can both access Demo But Jack can only access Jack and visa versa.

I've been at this all night and just cant figure it out if it is even possible at all.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
