Integrate Phoca Gallery category with Jomsocial user pics

I know its a long shot, but here's what I would like to do, and maybe Im just not searching the right terms.

I want one of my categories to be user pics. but I would like the pics to be pulled from the folder where Jomsocial users upload their pictures.


Basically, is there a way to designate a folder outside of the phocagallery folder as a source for images? even If i need to rebuild the thumbnails occasionally, just so I dont have to sort through and figure out which images are new, then copy them over to the phocagallery folder.

Hi, this needs to be customized in the code, you can change the paths there (but not sure if this should be set only in one file)

try to search the libraries folder:

administration/com_phocagallery/libraries/phocagallery/path/path.php
