Public docs but login is being asked for

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Phoca Download 1.3.6

Public documents, accessed through the download menu now require a login.

The same document accessed by a direct link
(eg. http://maitlandas.net/index.php?option= ... ownload=51
doesn't.

I've checked the access level of all files, categories and sections but they're all set to public.

Not sure where to look now!

Any ideas appreciated.

Hi, did you check the access of menu link, did you check if the file is not "unauthorized"?

I wasn't actually using a menu to link to the download section, rather a text / picture link on an article page.

To check out your suggestion I published a download menu and yes, all worked fine. If I unpublish the menu and rely on the link, I'm back to a login situation.

I've left the menu link now, as it's working.
