Hi, question about comments and avatar

Hi,

1) some parameter is planned in this problem (displaying comments with image)
2) For this I think there must be some customization. I am planning to add some feature for jomsocial, etc. but still didn't find time for this

Yes but there is a logical problem. If you have e.g. 50 images on the site and you will display all the comments for all the images, then you get performance and design issues

Sorry for answering to old topic, but last days i've downloaded new Phoca Gallery and after many "oh ah it's brilliant " i found that the Phoca Gallery can displays user avatars. I completely agree with author of topic. It's not right to use two awatars on one site. Is this possible to add support for more avatars? For example JComments can display users avatars from other components, like Community Builder and Agora (probably more, i can't remember). It could be great option for users to use one avatar in both components. I use PG on some sites, and Agora too. Agora avatars are used in Authorbot (articles) forum itself, comments (discuss bot) and some modules. At this moment only PG is using other (own) avatars.

Hi, for now I am not able to do it (because of time issues and overwriting all extensions to 1.6) so for now this needs to be customized in the code.

Added into the feature request list.
