New and Hot - Icon missing

Hi!

Just upgraded to 2.7.4 because of the Icons. I activated it in the options and copied the files

icon-hot.png
icon-new.png
icon-new-round.png

into the folder /components/com_phocagallery/assets/images/

but I don't see them!

What did I do wrong?

Hi, the icons are included as default (there are only specific icons if you are using other than English language)

Did you set in Parameters the e.g. days when New icon will be displayed, hits when Hot icon will be displayed.

yes, I set the timespan - i set 30 days for new and 50 hits for "hot".
i copied the 2 german images to different folders in order to check which location is the right one - so I don't know where the original were located at - can you tell me?

My hot and new icons appear as question marks in Safari, and do not appear at all in Firefox? Can anyone help. I looked in /components/com_phocagallery/assets/images/ and I see the icons, so that appears fine, and I set the number of days in the configuration, but still no luck.

this is not the correct path!
The new & hot icon should be in /administrator/components/com_phocagallery/front/assets/images

Thanks for your response.

I resolved this by setting the permissions in the below folder to 0755. I did check the directory you referenced and the files were also located there. Changing the permissions to 0755 did not resolve it so I changed the permission back in this folder only and left the below at 0755 and all set. Thank you again for responding.
