Problem wit User list and upload file

Dear Sir,
I have instaled Phocadownload version 1.3.6. on joomla 1.5.18., it was work perfectly before last update of phocadownload. Naimely, now when i try to upload some document i have messages JFolder::create: Could not create directory!, where is problem? In backend when i make category, and give rights to some users to be owner of this category (they can upload document) system doesnt make change on list of user which have rights to upload document? Why?
When same users are loged in this system, they see Section and Category where they shoud download document but when they try to upload they receive same messages: JFolder::create: Could not create directory

Please can you help me to resolve this problem,

Hi, try to check permissions and ownership of folders and files on your server.
