Thumbs perfect but some slidehsows empty

Good day

I have an interesting problem. I am most impressed with the Phoca Gallery component and it generally works beautifully and impresses all how look at it, but I have hit a snag that has me baffled.

I have a number of categories and in all of them the thumbnails work perfectly but in some the large image in the slideshow doesn't display although the description displays correctly at the bottom. I have checked in the admin area and when I go to the Images section and click on one of the images I immediately get the large version showing correctly.

The problem galleries are:

The rest of the galleries are working perfectly.

Any ideas?

Hi, some javascript code parts can have problems with e.g. empty spaces in image filenames. Try to check your image filenames to not include spaces and "bad" characters, see:

Thanks for getting back Jan.

I went through all the files and removed all spaces and other characters but still no images in the lightbox view. All the other categories show perfectly expect the two mentioned in my original post.

Hmmm, now I see the image in JAK (on the second link)

The Galleries called:
Bunkers to Mining & Commercial Fleets
Bunkers to Passenger Vessels & Yachts

When I open them for Lightbox there are no images.

This took me an age to solve but eventually discovered that the problem was in teh folder name and not the files. The two folders that didn't work both had an & int eh name and that was the fly in the ointment. Removed and all working beautifully.
