No User Control?

Post by djws »

Hello, I've just installed Phoca Gallery, it was easy and works great! However I can't seem to really do anything under the users menu. Meaning that All registered users are able to upload photo's. I want to limit this, I only want a few select ppl to be able to upload pics. I can't seem to add any users and no users show up in the users menu.

How do I do this?

Thank-you. From the link it seems to say that all registered users would be able to upload images if enabled fr the front end. However, I only want a few users to be able to upload images from the front end. Is there a way to specify Which users?

I think that you only need to check the options of your category folder, check in the back end, for example if you have a category called A, open it in the back end and check the section: Upload and Add User Rights:, there you can see a list of all the register users, i think that is the only way, add in manually, so remember that you can select more than one whit the CTRL key.

Could be great if Phoca supports users groups, but this is a joomla problem.

I hope that this help you.
