User categories and subcategories creation OFF

Hi,

What I don't know how to do is...

I want to have an Upload link for my Users so when they click it they go to my Phoca gallery image categories and choose in which Subcategory they want to upload images, or if they are not registered they get the login screen.

But, what I don't want is that when they login they get possibility to create their own categories and subcategories. How to turn this option completely OFF? No user can create Cat/Subcategories... I just want users to Upload photos to subcategories I created.

From the front-end User Control Panel, the user is quarantined and does not have direct access to your existing categories/subcategories.

You can enable User Category Authorization and User Subcategory Authorization, which keeps the user from creating viewable cats/subcats. Then as an administrator, add their images to the appropriate category.

Not the greatest answer, but it seems a lot safer to me to keep front-end users quarantined like this. Most of my sites have the UCP disabled, so I would be curious if anyone has alternative/better solutions for this?

In Category View, if the upload is enabled, users can only upload images, not create category or subcategory. So if you will create a category or subcategory, you can enable uploading feature for it.
