Hi,
Today I upgraded version 2.6.2 to 2.7.3.
1. I tried to use the first option in Joomla - Upload Package. This gave an error over and over, so I emptied my .tmp folder
2. Then I unzipped the package and put it in my .tmp folder through ftp
3. Then I used the second option in Joomla - Install from folder. The installation runned well and I chose the upgrade option.
After upgrading, everything goes fine in the backend. I checked all settings and tested my frontend, but I got an error page :
404 - Component not found.
Trying to fix it, I deleted my menu-item calling the categoy 'Fotos' and created it again, but still the same problem on the frontend.
After that I also noticed when I go in the backend to the Themes tab inside the Phoca Gallery component, when I click the button 'Create background image' I got the error message : "Error while changing background image Error2"
My site is running Joomla 1.5.15 in Dutch (from DutchJoomla!)
Are there any sulutions for this?
Thanks.

Try to test your permissions and ownership of files and folders on your server. Check if Phoca Gallery can write images to folder:
components/com_phocagallery/assets/images.

I tried all that, but still error 404 on the frontend... And now the backend gives me only blank pages. I guess I have to remove it all and install version 2.7.3 from scratch... after renaming my pictures folder, so I don't need to upload them again...

Hi, you should try to enable debug or error reporting to see what exactly is wrong there:
