Phoca Plugin - Category View

I am using the Gallery Plugin and want to show a series of categories in an Article but when the user clicks on the Category then I want to show the images in that category - all I can get it to do is popup into an image for a slide show.

Here are the settings I am using for a category {phocagallery view=category|imagecategories=1|categoryid=1|imageid=0|limitstart=0|limitcount=1|
fontcolor=#B88A00|bgcolor=#999999|bgcolorhover=#FFD441|imagebgcolor=#FFD24D|
bordercolor=#B88A00|bordercolorhover=#86B300|displayname=1|displaydetail=1|displaydownload=0|float=left}

I do not want to show a list of all Categories as I really like to be able to contol the settings on the Category image box in the Article

I don't understand what you need to display?

Anyway the code in article only display medium thumbnails like they are displayed in category view and you can view detail of the images in popup or no popup while clicking on the images - the same like in category view.

Sorry if I am not clear.

I am using an Article with the Plugin showing different Categories as part of a table with some decription for each category in the table.

I want to be able to click on the Category image and then be shown the list of images in that Category - right now if I click on the image I go straight into a slideshow and not into an image list view which is what I want.

Any way to do this

If you use view=categories instead of view=category and then hide the category(s) you don`t want to show, it should work as you want.

Thanks - that worked OK wih some changes to the settings in the menu item I got close to the desired effect.
