White page when opening guestbook & logged-in in frontend

I've got a strange problem since I updated to 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 (on J1.5.18):

Any registered user, who is logged in in the frontend, cannot open any of the guestbooks as they appear as totally white pages. However, any 'guest'-user who opens any guestbook, has no problem at all.

Enabling error reporting doesn't help: still a totally white page with no source-code.

Anyone seen this problem before?

Forgot to mention that also SEF on / off doesn't make any difference

Try to enable debug mode, and try to see error log - mostly if there is blank website, there should be some error

I tried.... Nothing.

However, my test-user revealed that the problems only arise when the user-type is "administrator" or "super-admin", regardless if they have posted before or not.

Any ideas?

Hi, if you can see a bit of html, this should mean that the script ended there e.g. with some fatal error.

Is the displaying of php errors allowed on your site, can you see some other warning or error?

Ich habe das selbe Problem. Weiße Seite im Gästebuch. Keine Anzeige beim Admin noch beim unregistrierten Nutzer. Nichts!!! System Debugggen und der gleichen bringt auch absolut nichts. Es wird auch kein html Code angezeigt. Für Hilfe wäre ich dankbar.

Hallo, ja dass muss man von ErrorLog lesen, oder PHPeror reporting einschalten oder debug mode einschalten oder alle angeführte einschalten, siehe:

Also ich habe es jetzt mit allem probiert.

.htaccess nix
im error_log nur irgendwas von einer nicht gefundenen favicon.ico
debuggen im joomla alles auf on
und Fehlerberichte auf maximum auch alles nichts.

bei Quellcode anzeigen auch nichts. Gibt es noch einen andere Möglichkeit?

Edit: Ich habe es nochmal komplett deinstalliert und wieder installiert auch nix. Dann habe ich ein wenig an den URL rumgespielt und da kam nur eine Fehlermeldung bei einer unvolständigen URL wie dieser hier

wenn die id >0 ist dann kommt die bekannte weiße Siete. Müsste nicht bei falschen ID's wenigstens eine Fehlermeldung kommen. ich weiß wirlich nicht was ich noch probieren soll.
